A new ChatGPT update allows the OpenAI tool to use current information through Microsoft’s (MSFT) Bing. The update is meant to help ChatGPT stand out from competitors like Google’s (GOOGL) Bard 🐭while strengthening Microsoft’s position in the AI🌼 field. 

OpenAI said that Browse with Bing was available to paying ChatGPT subscribers starting Wednesday, and said that the feature will soon roll out to all users. OpenAI said that with the update, ChatGPT relies on “current and authoritative information, complete with direct links to sources.”

ChatGPT previously launched the Browse feature but it was removed in July due to security concerns, specifically that it allowed users to bypass paywalls.

The update addresses a major shortfall of ChatGPT compared with competitors: A lack of up-to-date information. While 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Google’s Bard uses “real-time” content from the web, ChatGPT as recently as February 2023 was limited to information ending in September 2021.

Making a Name in the AI World

OpenAI holds a major stake in the AI market as one of its pioneers after delivering ChatGPT. ChatGPT gained 100 million unique users in the first two months after its launch, making it the fastest-growing application of its kind, according to UBS analysts' estimations.
