Apple (AAPL) is reportedly working to develop its own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:artificial intelligence (AI) chips, in a move that could make it less reliant on AI chip giant Nvidia (NVDA).

The iPhone maker is collaborating with chipmaker Broadcom (AVGO) to develop a chip code-named Baltra, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing coverage from The Information. Mass production of the chip is expected to begin in 2026, the report said. 

The chip will reportedly be made using an advanced manufacturing process from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查꧒询:Taiwan♐ Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSM), which produces chips for Nvidia and is an Apple 🎃supplier. 

Shares of Broadcom jumped over 6% in afternoon trading Wednesday, while Apple edged 0.2% higher, and TSMC shares gained 1.🦂3%.
